The CRM
Net is a mechanism for evolving an independent, competent, and credible
entity for monitoring impact and accountability of CRM/ICM programmes being
implemented by bilateral aid donors, international financial institutions,
government agencies and NGOs/POs and in establishing a standard of good
practice in CBCRM and advocating for their adoption. A database on CRM/ICM
programmes will be prepared to 1) update/consolidate information on current
CRM/ICM initiatives and 2) prepare the groundwork for setting-up a regional
monitoring network.
The organization
of the CRM Net started with a series of lecture-forum featuring major CRM/ICM
programmes to present the key features and accomplishments of their programmes.
The lecture-forum serves as an important venue for the CBCRM community
to engage with and learn from the different institutions.
A new and innovative way of communicating among colleagues has been
in action since April 2000. This e-mail facility is intended to provide
a venue through which members of the network and friends can discuss topics
related to the CRM Net or/and CBCRM/ICM.
