CBCRM Resource Pool
 
      The Resource Pool is envisioned to be a flexible multi-disciplinary team from members of the academic community, NGOs, volunteer groups and other development professionals who have expertise in specific areas of social development and CBCRM practice such as resource assessment and resource management planning, resource economics, fisheries management, local governance, legal administration, community organizing, organizational development, gender mainstreaming sustainable livelihood development, among others.

     The resource pool shall serve as a regular forum for cross programme learning and exchange among Oxfam GB’s/FPE’s partner groups and CBCRM practitioners and “think-tank” to advance theory and practice of CBCRM in the Philippines and potentially in the region. As a pool of “experts”, it shall engage in dialogues and serve as feedback mechanism for developing, advancing and testing new ideas in the methodologies and components of CBCRM practice.

     Collectively or individually, members of the resource pool may be tapped by Oxfam GB/FPE identify its emerging role in its partnership with programme implementers and the local communities/POs. Members of the resource pool may also serve as consultants and/or mentors for capability building and programme development of respective partners.
